The 1886 Winchester rifle in all its configurations has long been collected and sought after by lever gun collectors.
Unfortunately, after a hundred-and-twenty-five-years-plus of abuse a scarce few have survived in collectible condition. Poor maintenance, black powder, and early corrosive priming mixture took a heavy toll on the bores. Then there is the hack-saw jobs and pipe-wrench marks that home (or barn) repairs were attempted.
Our shop produces barrels in all configurations and calibers for 1886 Winchester rifles. We machine a barrel of authentic appearance from modern gun barrel quality steel. The Barrel legend is marked with original lettering font to maintain the original look for your restoration project.
